Operates several CryoWing UAS
Norway and USA out&return expedition from the Troll Station through Queen Maud Land to the South Pole. The CryoWing UAS mapped snow distribution and precipitation.
From the Spitzbergen Islands (77ºN to 79ºN) the CryoWing UAS is used for investigaions of the Polar weather systems, melting glaciers and the arctic sea-ice cover Polar challenges: logistics, weather conditions, extreme cold, high altitude (Antarctica).
Other targeted areas: Surveillance of power lines, coastal areas, water reservoirs, mapping of vegetation, seals and salmons, and weather and climate research.
