Prox Dynamics AS was established late 2007, is the largest UAS company in Norway, and develops Nano-UAS for professional use. The company is based on a strong background in micro helicopter, video- and signal processing and system integration.

The pocket sized PD-100 Black Hornet is the world’s first Personal UAS, and will provide soldiers with their own outdoor and indoor ISTAR capability. The system is under development and comprises the GCS and three 15 gram UAV. The UAVs are equipped with a steerable camera, an advanced autopilot and a digital two-way data link. The GCS contains all necessary systems and functions to plan, execute and analyze the mission. In addition it is used as the UAV container when they are not in use. The total system weighs less than 1 kg, and it is expected to be operational in 2011. The PD-100C is the civilian version of the system.
